Sexualised Behaviour and Children

Course Description:
This course is suitable for all staff working with children and young people. It is particularly useful to new staff entering the children’s workforce. The course seeks to help participants understand the difference between developmental and inappropriate or harmful behaviours and their role in supporting young people.

Course Outline: 

  • Identifying harmful and inappropriate behaviours
  • Understand the facts around children and sexualised behaviour
  • The difference between pre-pubescent and adolescent young people
  • Risk assessment
  • Approaches to working with young people

Course Duration:

The trainer will carry out an on-going assessment during the course

All delegates will receive a certificate of attendance

The course can be delivered at locations to suit the client or at one of our training venues
