Lone Working

Course Description:
This course is suitable to all staff who’s role involves them working alone, remotely or periods without supervision in a range of settings. This could be in accommodation based services, or the child or young person’s own homes including traveling between locations.

Course Outline: 

  • Identify the range of lone working situations
  • Use of risk assessment in lone working
  • Explore practical strategies to support safety in lone working
  • Understand the legal context and responsibilities relating to lone working

Course Duration:

The trainer will carry out an on-going assessment during the course

All delegates will receive a certificate of attendance

The course can be delivered at locations to suit the client or at one of our training venues
Maximum number of delegates per trainer is 15
