CIEH Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering

Course Description:
This award is aimed at all staff who have a responsibility to ensure food safety. The course has been designed to provide a fun and interactive way of ensuring that those individuals understand not only their responsibilities but also the systems used to ensure food safety.

Course Outline:  

  • Learn the importance of food safety and gain knowledge of the systems, techniques and procedures involved
  • Understand how to control food safety risks (personal hygiene, food storage, cooking and handling)
  • Gain the confidence and expertise to safely deliver quality food to customer

Course Duration:
6hrs / 1 day

Ongoing assessment of learning is carried out by the trainer, the course is concluded by a multiple choice exam

On successful completion learners will receive a CIEH Level 2 Certificate in Food Safety

The course can be delivered at locations to suit the client or at one of our training venues
Maximum number of delegates per trainer is 12
