The Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) have launched their “Revalidation” process; from April 2016 all registrants listed on the NMC register will need to complete Revalidation to maintain their registration and ability to practice.
NMC Revalidation requires nurses and midwives to undertake ongoing continuing professional development (CPD) including 40hrs of learning of which 20hrs must be participatory learning completed through attendance on courses and learning events. Fairway Nurse Revalidation course is designed to support to help you meet this CPD requirement.
This 3 day program will provide opportunities to update on essential skills to support practice as well as offering additional areas which may mean learners leaving with new skills not previously practice including:
- Resuscitation and CPR update
- PEG care managing complications and supporting good care
- Catheterisation female and male
- Venepuncture and Cannulation
- Verification of expected death
- Diabetes care
The trainer will carry out an on-going assessment during the course
All delegates will receive a certificate of attendance
The course can be delivered at locations to suit the client or at one of our training venues
Maximum number of delegates per trainer is 12
