Course Description:
An essential course for all health and social care staff who work with and support individuals living with MS, who need to understand the effects of MS on the individual and their family and also need to have an understanding behind the condition and the support needs of the people they work with.

Course Outline: 

  • What is Multiple Sclerosis
  • The effects of Multiple Sclerosis on the body
  • The social and wider effects of Multiple Sclerosis and support needs of family carers and others
  • The support needs of the person with Multiple Sclerosis and person centred approaches

Course Duration:

The trainer will carry out an on-going assessment

All delegates will receive a certificate of attendance

The course can be delivered at locations to suit the client or at one of our training venues
Maximum number of delegates per trainer is 15
