Course Description:
This course provides an essential overview of mental health and is useful for all staff working within health and social care not just individuals working within mental health services, but for those staff working with other service user groups and in a range of settings. This course will provide fundamental information to recognise some of the signs and symptoms associated with mental health.

- What do we mean by mental health
- The links between mental health and physical health
- Explore some of the conditions associated with mental health and mental illness
- Understand the effects of mental health and the associate stigmas
- Introduction to recovery based models
