Highfield Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering (QCF)

Course Description:
This award is aimed at all staff who have a responsibility to ensure food safety. The course has been designed to provide a fun and interactive way of ensuring that those individuals understand not only their responsibilities but also the systems used to ensure food safety.

Course Outline:  

  • How individuals can take personal responsibility for food safety
  • The importance of keeping clean and hygienic
  • The importance of keeping work areas clean and hygienic
  • The importance of keeping food safe

Course Duration:
9* Guided Learning Hours / 1 day

Assessment:
Ongoing assessment of learning is carried out by the trainer, the course is concluded by a multiple choice exam

Certification:
On successful completion learners will receive the Highfield Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering

Location:
The course can be delivered at locations to suit the client or at one of our training venues
Maximum number of delegates per trainer is 15
